You can tell if an Animal is dirty by hovering over them and checking their status and they'll also look dirtier in appearance as well. Keeping your Sim's Animals' enclosures clean isn't all, though, as they also need to make sure the Animals themselves are clean and well-kept. Check out our Oversized Crops guide for more information. When cleaning a Coop or Animal Shed, your Sim will sometimes find Fertilizer that is used when growing Oversized Crops. To clean it, click on the building and then select "Clean Animal Shed" or "Clean Coop." If it's Slighty Dirty, Dirty, or Very Dirty, it needs cleaning. You can check the cleanliness status of an Animal Shed or Coop by hovering over it. To keep your Sim's Chickens, Cows, and Llamas happy, they need to first ensure that their housing is kept clean and disinfected daily.
